In lieu of the "Thanks, Valve" thread, I'd like to toss up a similar thread for the folks at Bungie. I know at least a few of you visit this forum, so please pass this along to your coworkers.

While I won't go into details or such, as it's not my way, I'd just like to say thank you for an awesome trilogy of gameplay with an equally awesome story. The Halo trilogy was well worth my time and money, and it has definitely earned its place in my game collection.

So, yah, thank you.

If any one else feels like contributing to this, please do, but please keep any flaming or bitching to one of the other halo-related threads.

I'm with ya on this man. I honestly was a halo skeptic until I really gave the games a solid try this summer. They sucked me in and I became a fan. Halo 3 is an amazing end to the trilogy, and really shows of what a polished game should be.

Good stuff Bungie.

I've been following the series, since it was supposed to be a Mac game. That was a couple years? before it even came out. When I heard Microsoft had purchased Bungie and that it would be a launch title for the Xbox, I preordered the system, two controllers and one copy of Halo.

Great series and definitely some of the best games I've played. Thanks!

Does anyone remember the Warthog Jump video? A couple weeks ago I just remembered it and watched it again for the first time in several years, and it caused me to get a bit nostalgic. I think my brothers and I almost had more fun trying to launch a warthog and hit it in mid-air with a rocket than we did playing through the actual game . After seeing this video when it first came out, we would spend hours launching warthogs.

Anyway, I thought this was an appropriate thread to share that bit of nostalgia .

sadly I don't think grenades set off other grenades anymore which is a shame.

Although you can toss the grav lift under a warthog

I gots halo 3 now. Its so refined, probably the most refined game I think I have played. Thanks Bungie for not fucking it up, best halo ever and a great trilogy. Awesome

Yeah I gotta say while I was upset with a few things. Tracking down all the skulls, the terminals and other hidden things and playing with the awesomeness that is forge and the ability to watch all my game videos, record clips, upload screenshots is just fucking awesome.

Thank you Bungie and I'll end this in Bungie fashion.
