i may go back and do a second pass on the texture and maybe add some vertex coloring. but i'm pretty board with it now. 128 tris on the dot, but i didn't delete a lot of the unseen faces. the texture came in at just under a kb(996 bytes), 32 colors with transparency, 64^64. i'll post the wires later.
Im curious as to why you didn't tackle the rug UVs the same way as you did the table top. The texture density difference is really noticable.
Aside from that, it's looking pretty sweet. I dig the DS on the table. Would be interested to see how it would go with a bit of vertex lighting.
If you've got a spare spot on your palette, it'd be worth grabbing a colour that sits around halfway between the red of the carpet and yellow of the pattern and using it to smooth out those jaggies a bit.
you could also cut in 4 the vinil disks and do the same you did with the table, the polycount might go up , but you would have more texture resolution
EDIT : also the leg of the table, seems to be just one color, so make like two pixels of that color and put the uvws there, the part that is the side of the table seems that i could be done with a gradient imo.
very nice indeed.. and I think the style is pretty close to the game.. well done! I hope you will texture the table feet.. it's the only thing that bothers me

i guess i really could have spared the extra polys for the texture space, i just didn't think to. might revisit that in a bit
Edit : like what you did with the table.
