Issues with stitching in 3DSM9

Whenever I try to stitch, I get this odd error. It doesn't happen on all edges. If I select the other edge and stitch, then the smaller face will blow up, and grow about 3x the original size. It's nothing related to the bias setting, because it works fine on most edges. This is happening to all of my models, it's not just this one. I've tried googling but I really have no idea what to search for... Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Well make sure you reset xform everything before you apply your unwrap mod. Sometimes it helps to select the opposite edge and trying stitch. I have had weird stitch problems from time to time, sometimes it's because the uvs are inverted, or just rotating them a certain way fixes the problem. It's annoying as hell. Not sure if what I mentioned will help though.

I've had this problem before, and I've tried resetting xforms, collapsing and making a new modifier, everything I can think of really. I'll try it again though, just incase Like I said, if I select the opposite edge it grows instead of shrinking. Thanks anyway.

Awesome, glad that fixed it. I often forget that UVW is working in 3D space too.
