it's looking great, although it seems to lack the volume the concept character have. This one seems a bit more lanky and old. Could be what you're going for though.
Really nice lowpoly. Look forward to seing more of this one. I agree on the volume though, good perception neo. You could push the arms a bit back and add some beef on chest and back.
Looks great. I agree that if you want to stay more true to the concept he should be more beefy.
Not that there is anything wrong with him looking like that now.
Not bad...could now use a little worn and discoloration on the leather parts though...most of the armor doesn't seem to pop because of single shade of color.
But it could stand to "pop" a lot more. At the moment the gold is very desaturated and slightly greenish. Also there are some areas which could use better defined lighting.
Hope you don't mind, I did a quick paintover here:
First I did Hue -5, Saturation +25 to make it more "goldish".
I think it needs some slightly better definition of "planes" in the armour to give it some more volume, so I highlighted some more areas in a general fashion.
I think it could also do with some colour variation to hint at reflection or bounced light.
Also the armour could probably stand to have a bit more interesting trims, some different coloured materials, or some idea of how it's all held together. Rivets or clamps or something.
Overall I think trying to focus more on the "planes" of the armour will really help this texture, at the moment all the gold parts seem to be painted as is light is shining directly at them, rather than a consistent light source highlighting some angles more than others.
-First off MoP and Sama thanks for the paintovers. Mop you hit the spot on the rivets and clamps I knew there was something missing but didn't quite know what it was.
-This is kind of a funny thing, the color of the gold was already more yellow and saturated but I turned it down because I thought it looked too saturated...go figure.
- I do have a layer with all of my highlights in my PSD so turning those up should be easy.
Once again thanks for the crits and paintovers, YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

Looks great by the way
but yeah, as that was said before, the ones on the concept seem to be a bit bulkier than yours
Most of the armor's designs are my own creation since the concept is pretty vague on that, Hope you like
Done soon hopefully
yeah the armor is still under construction, it still needs some nice highlights and some more yellows.
As for the leather I intend to make it a bit less saturated cause I just noticed it is a bit too orange.
ROCK ON!!!
and an unlit with only diffuse

Hope that helps,
