Last I heard it was pretty cool. But Lucas stuck his big fat head in, and said he didn't like it. Good idea, because Spielberg's last 3 movies have done sooo bad compared to Lucas' StarWars....

It was originally set after WWII, with Indy doing some investigations into aliens and the Roswell crash. Shit like that. Sounded really cool.

Hope Lucas didn't fuck it up.

George Lucas invented Indiana Jones, for cryin' out loud. He's a shitty screenwriter, but he's an awesome storyteller. Lucas put his big fat head into the stories for Raiders, Temple and Crusade; Spielberg only directed them, so give credit where it's due.

Is that when this film is taking place? I could swear it was taking place 20 years after the last film, which took place in the late 30's.

87 sounds way too much, I also think its around 20 years later, basically same as harrison's aging.

Movies are far more than just story. If you have a shitty director and crew, the movie is going to suck, no matter how good the story is.
My concern was that Lucas is trying to wedge his own ideas into the scriptplay, or direct portions of the film. His stories are fantastic, but he's a talentless hack in any other department.
