I picked it up Thursday. Very good game! Looks super too! I see it as a good benchmark for future Wii developers to shoot for. Retro nailed the controls for sure. And the presentation is excellent...showing that the Wii is like the "Little Engine that Could."
The day I picked up MP3:C, I also reserved my copy of Zack and Wiki. (I'm really excited about this one)
I agree, game is great, and its beautiful. I knew it could be done on the wii, i think resident evil 4 really showed the power the of gamecube, and if the wii is even only slightly better, it would not be presumptuous to expect at least the quality of that game, graphically at least.. i don't know why so many companies opt for such low visuals on the system, especially considering the install base.

that's probably exactly why XD. nobody wants to sink a lot of money into a wii game when they can spend an eighth of the amount and still have tons of casuals buy it looking for something new to play.
I hope the system turns out to be more than a bunch of Happy Feet and Surf's up games (outside of the nintendo games)
Beat the game last night
Damn fun and beautiful. Sometimes it seriously felt like I was playing in some of the concept art, especially the later levels. The way they manage to create unified worlds is something I wish more games would achieve. Difficulty-wise, compared to the other games (damn you Phazon Mines and Boost Ball Guardian), it got much easier after getting comfortable with the controls.
One problem I have involve those damned unlockables. Loved the art galleries in the other two Prime games (some of my favorite unlockables evar), but this one you need Friend Vouchers to unlock half of the art galleries and all of the bonus material. The hell? I want them naow~! I sent some vouchers to Xenobond (being the only person on my list to have save data...enjoy those three friend vouchers! ) thinking I'd get some automatically for sending them to him. Unfortunately, not the case. I want my damn art galleries

I wasn't big into the first two.. but I have both. Only played about an hour of MP1 and nothing of MP2... but I'm about 2 hours into 3.
I love it. It's really good, I'm way used to the controls now (advanced), the graphics way exceeded my expectations.. and its great so far.
thats all I can say right now, I can post more impressions later I guess. I'd recommend it so far though, especially if you liked the other 2
