Getting a little soggy

With all the rain and bad storms lately there's a lot of flooding and power outages going on. I've got no power at my place right now (I'm at work right now), about a foot of water in the basement, I'm a block west of the Des Plaines river which I heard this morning is expected to flood over the road. Not gonna be here too long so I can get back to that funness. Heard that some areas in Ohio and Wisconsin are completely under water. Everybody holding up ok?

Yeah, I'm in the Detroit metro area, and we've been getting nailed by the same storms. Fortunately for us, we haven't been getting flooded as you have. There are some people with flooded basements, but not near my house. Our freeways have been getting some flash floods, but it clears up quickly.

I hope things dry up for you shortly. I know they've been suggesting more hits from the hurricanes in the Gulf. Good luck

I'm pretty sure Seattle can give up the title of most rain drenched town. I hope everything turns out ok for everyone.

I got hit by the storms here in chicago. The front of my building partially collapsed, and the rear was on fire for a bit due to downed power lines. I hope I get power before the weekends over.

Dang, jdevin, that sucks. Can't go out the front or back. Hope you got through it ok. Finally got power here, 3 days of no power is not fun. Although at night since there'd be nothing else to do a bunch of neighbors and I would get a bonfire going and sit outside all night, got about a million mosquito bites though. Stupid bugs. Got some pics, will try to get them up eventually.
