Very interesting video. I can't see the technology ever being truly perfected, however. The results seem to depend largely upon the content within the image, and that could lead to poor results.
I don't believe anything will truly improve upon traditional photo editing, as it relies upon a human to analyze the picture and determine what looks "right." The day computers become truly sentient is the day I don my tinfoil hat.
It doesn't *have to be perfect, mind you. For very quick retouching, it's already looking like a great timesaver. I'd love to have it for toying around with sketches, just fooling around with different layouts.
