It was a nice day for me, since I took a day off and my family is here visiting from Virginia and we had a nice dinner and some wine and all that jazz - and although initially quite coincidentally, but recurring for quite many years now, it's my dad's bday too.
We had some fun with Photoshop - we started with some scanned random marker doodles and then put them together, like Scott Robertson showed in one of those Gnomon DVDs - except that where he saw caves and orbs and spaceships, we saw mostly some odd animals. Here's a couple my sister and me put together (showing initial portions of the scanned doodle collage and then an end result):
