and on Steam
I believe this was captured at Leipzig (old link), which means hopefully Valve will release it properly soon enough. If they keep this up, I'm not going to want to play TF2 at all, I'll just want to watch a show about these characters.

Hopefully the actual gameplay will eventually show some of it off as well, otherwise I'm with gauss and I'd rather watch a show with these characters.

this one is excelent !
Ten years in the industry and finally I am excited about a game again.
Only problem. Its Valve. Its gonna have that frikkin hellish force downloads down your throat STEAMING PILE OF STEAM attached to it.
I still havent played half life 2 through yet because of that monstrosity.
But dammit, for THIS game. Maybe...
Besides, its fun to destroy the turrets of the enemy team while being disguised
I love the fact I don't have hard-copies of my games any more. And that wherever I log in to Steam from it knows which games i do and do not own.
It's a sinch to jump on to the same server as my friends.
It's not crashing (like, ever - for me anyway).
Steam use to be quite difficult, but now I luvr it.
I like the idea of buying a game and never having to worry about losing the install disks. Steam knows I own the game, so I can just download it with no questions asked.
I wish more games had some kind of "own it for life" policy as well. One time I was installing UT2004 and my computer chair accidentally ran over disc 2. At that point, I had to download an ISO from a p2p site, just for one disc.
Just something to think about for the steam haters. Hate the proprietary BS, but also consider its uses

In addition to that, I love the fact I can play my steam games on any computer that allows me to install steam. While at home, I can buy a game and play it, install it on my laptop for when I'm with friends. When I get to work, I can log in, begin my downloads, and play during lunch. Plus my Valve games are updated and improved with no effort from me having to keep track of patches. Plus, I get nice deals, pre-orders, free play weekends, and demos. Valve has saved PC gaming for me. It no longer feels like a chore.
The only problem I've had with Steam is when everyone in the world install it on the day HL2 was released (even tho it was available before), and began downloading the game at the same time. Effectively clogging all the tubes. But it's quick and painfree these days. So, hate it for its success if you want.
On a side note. I'm glad Valve uses the games they create to sell themselves, instead of overpaying some clueless marketing douche or creative director to hype the game so much it becomes a major overpriced disappointment on release, like a car you buy from a sleazy used car salesman. I'm glad they're not paying another studio to create false advertising CG renders.
