The amount of awesome entries overwhelm me a bit. Anyway, I scribbled this up and put a quick bit of shade on it. I quite like the form, but something is missing, perhaps the air intakes at the sides should be more to the front.

I'm back and pretty much finalized this design. I'm not really liking it atm, it's a bit strange, it felt much better a week ago.

Something that helps me get design ideas down is to block in a side view just flat. Throw some shapes, cylinders squares what have you and then do a quick build in 3d and see if anything happens. I think your current perspective set up is making it hard to design things like cockpit cause to many things are being hidden. I'm not good with designing in perspective so I just find it distracting have to worry about a vanishing point when all I want to do is wip something out.
