No, I am not trying to get unwanted attention:) But I recently lost my internet adress, and just got it back. Though now at work I cannot see it and get a opendns page saying that it cannot be found. Although some people can see it fine, and others can partially see it, sooo I was hoping that some of you can tell me if it seems to be working for you, or might know of the problem that I am having.
Thanks in advance!

If you lost your domain and just recently got it back, it will take a while (a day..maybe?) to propagate that bbreily.com points to wherever your site is in DNS globally. So, it's normal.

Working at an ISP, I deal with issues like this on a daily basis. Basically, a DNS server is a server that translates your www domain into an IP address. Each ISP has one, web hosts have them, etc. Every DNS server on the net has to communicate with the other DNS servers to let each other know when a change has been made. This is basically DNS propogation in a nutshell.
What is happening here is certain people's specific DNS servers have updated to the recent change in where your domain points to, but other servers haven't quite "got the memo" yet. You should always account for 24-72 hours before everything should be all fine and dandy across the net.
I hope that helps, and sorry if you knew that already. Maybe it helps somebody? :P
Notman: I cleaned my cache, but I will ask IT what it might be on there end
Caseyjones: Cool, it sounds like most of you are saying the same thing, so hopefully this will pan out.
Snowfly: Hehe thanks man, and I want to get you on my links page if thats cool:)
Slum: Yeah I have been checking it since Monday (when it came back up ) so maybe soon it will be up for me at work today, though some people said it was slower, and a few said thumbs were not showing up, though most of you guys havent stated that, so it must also be with his DNS server at work. And no, I am a noob to this stuff, so thanks for chiming in.
Asmuel: Heheh, that is suppossed to be Howard Stern painting a self portrait, never really got to finish it, long story...but glad you like it:)
