Environment Artist Position - Buzz Monkey Software

Buzz Monkey is looking for Environment Artists to work on AAA XBox 360 and Nintendo Wii titles.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities:
* Minimum 3 years experience in the gaming industry, with a primary focus on in-engine asset creation
* Solid knowledge of Max or Maya
* Must have a basic understanding of game creation limits and dependencies
* Willing to accept and provide direction, work well under pressure, and handle multiple tasks
* Self motivated and a desire to work with a team
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
* Complete tasks within the prescribed deadlines
Requirements:
* Creation of game environments, including modeling, materials, and lighting
* Collaborating with the Art and Design teams to create high standard models and textures
* Contributing innovative and original ideas towards new processes and tools
Bonus Points
* Gamers who understand what it takes to make games playable and fun
* Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
