3D Studio Max Viewport Navigation

Well hello there.

I was wondering if someone of you knows of any plugin for max that has the capability to change the way max controls the viewport navigation, so it could mimic modo or maya.

im tired of using the MMB to pan and rotate and whatever.

It tires my wrist wait to much using the MMB.

Anyone?

I have mapped my Z, X, and C keys to zoom, rotate, and pan respectively - so I can switch to those modes without using the middle mouse button. It takes a little to get used to it but I'm fast at it now.

i tried using that system as well. but i cant seem to get the speed i want.
so. no one nows of a system like that i asked hein?

I think if you install the drivers for your wheeled mouse you might be able to configure what the mouse button do. If it lets you do so you might be able to remap your middle mouse button to another one.

I recalled seeing a demo of a tool that can make Max mimick a number of Maya's hotkeys and navigation controls. I don't remember what it was called.

I wished Maya and Max would allow the user to customize navigation controls. It seems like a really good practical feature. Maybe it's too of a feature to release until they run out of adding those minor features to newer versions.
