Just checking to see if anyone here is going this weekend. I've never been, and am still on the fence about attending. Every year I say that I will go, and every year I don't go. I hate nerds.

So to anyone who's been, is it 'Good times had by all' or 'Too much trouble for it's worth'?

Man comic con is a blast. It sucks that I am going to miss it this year but paying 600 for a plane ticket to go is a bit well... retarded. I wouldn't have any cash left over to buy any off the good stuff that will be there so instead I sent a bunch of cash to my buddy through paypal to get it for me.

Lux...it's a lot of fun and while there are tons of dorks, geeks, nerds and shit there are some seriously bad ass costumes, cool fan made props, and just a ton of neat shit to see.

Dammit all. Was about to buy tickets when I find out that both Fri and Sat are sold out(!). Guess my decision was made for me. Boo!

For ComicCon, you have to act quickly. I learned that this year when I looked for a room 2 weeks after they started taking orders, and found nothing within 7 miles.

yeah it's a crazy popular thing. You have to book your hotel almost a year in advance if you are really interested and buy tickets when they first go on sale to guaruntee entry.

I had a free 4 day ticket this year for being part of the industry as any of you could have gotten it as well. Even though I am not there my guests were able to pick up there tickets and use them.

DAMN IT... I am missing so much Star Wars goodness

Ehhh...after going 4 years in a row I just kinda got bored of it. There is nothing I really wanna see either, and there is just too many god damn people. Only fun part would be laughing at some of the silly costumes.
