Your exceptional visual design skills span Online and Print. You love to bring wireframes to life with appealing visual design. You have the training and experience to conceptualize & execute design systems for websites, RIAs, and marketing campaigns.
What you get to do every day
* Work with Product Managers and Marketing to conceptualize and then execute visual designs that advance Trion's business, marketing, and branding objectives
* Determine the look and feel of websites and applications that drive our publishing business for online games
* Collaborate with marketing to set branding standards that support marketing campaigns for online and print with visual assets
* Create design specifications for HTML development
* Participate in consultations with Product Managers and Development team to implement designs
* Propose and lead project definition activities with other team leads to include brainstorming, researching and auditing products and services
* Create ideas and solutions for complex visual design problems
* Proactively propose improvements to the existing products
* Collaborate in formal and informal design critiques and give clear, constructive and effective feedback to peers
* Mentor, guide and teach less experienced Designers as necessary
What you bring to the job in your professional toolkit
* BS or MS in Design, Interaction Design, Visual Studies, or other design-related field
* 5+ years hands-on design of interfaces for successful consumer websites & web applications
* Strong command of typography, color, composition, hierarchy, and an understanding of how these elements work together for a design solution
* Knowledgeable about production processes and optimization techniques related to web design as well as pre-press and on-press routines
* Able to create design documentation, including specifications and style guides
* Expert with Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
* Great communication skills both written and verbal
* Able to influence and resolve issues effectively
* Collaborative, upbeat, work ethic where you can take ownership and have fun

* People management experience a plus
