Senior Environment Modeler
You have the passion and skill to create magical 3D worlds for a large scale fantasy MMO game.
What you get to do every day
* You model, UV map, texture and shade technically challenging environment assets
* You create textures from scratch
* Work closely with the Art Director, other artists and Designers to create great-looking environments to technical specification and a high degree of quality
* Collaborate with our Art director, other highly talented artists and designers on the team in all aspects of our 3D environment content
* Export the assets into the game engine
* Work with really fun, driven people
What you bring to the job in your professional toolkit
* BA desired and a minimum of 2+ years of industry experience
* Participation in shipping at least one game title and be able to identify that title and the work that you contributed to it
* Expert hands-on experience with Maya, Adobe Photoshop, and a geometry painting package such as Zbrush or Mudbox
* Solid understanding of computer graphics fundamentals, and video game Art production pipelines
* Solid understanding of Art fundamentals to include color theory, light, shade and form
* Able to meet deliverables and drive your work to completion within specified timelines
* Great communication skills both written and verbal
* Can work cross functionally in many areas without being constrained by your job function
* Collaborative, upbeat, work ethic where you can take ownership and have fun
What we would also like you to bring :
* Experience with Height Map Terrain System
* Experience with modular design principles
