Senior Software Engineer, Web Client

What you get to do every day
* Build leading edge AJAX style interactive applications for the web and other connected devices, employing the latest technologies in online, enterprise, and gaming software
* Full-cycle software development, including analysis, design, programming, integration and testing, and product release
* Collaborate with technical and production staff to develop technical requirements and designs to deliver a complete multi-client service, publishing platform, and world-class games
* Develop and maintain interactive web and mobile client applications and application frameworks focusing on the client-side but will require involvement in the full application and data stack
* Integrate client applications with Trion's web platform and game services to deliver complete applications and features
* Develop software prototypes, evaluate emerging software technologies, and evaluate third party solutions
* Establish and promote software engineering best practices
What you bring to the job in your professional toolkit
* BA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering and a minimum of 5+ years software engineering experience with 3 of them (minimum) developing web software
* Hands on experience with OOAD, debugging, testing, consumer-facing application development, web frameworks, web browsers and cross-browser issues -minimum of Firefox and IE, and web servers
* Expertise with JavaScript, DOM, HTML, and CSS, XML, web services, AJAX, and at least one server-side web scripting language
* Familiarity with software development processes and the software product lifecycle
* Preferred familiarity with performance analysis and tuning, quality of service, scalability issues, enterprise systems, and software localization
* Preferred familiarity with application development for mobile devices
* Able to work in a team to rapidly produce prototypes and iterations
* Able to meet deliverables and drive your work to completion within specified timelines
* Great communication skills both written and verbal
* Can work cross functionally in many areas without being constrained by your job function
* Collaborative, upbeat, work ethic where you can take ownership and have fun
* Passion for creating great software
