I'm not much of an animator, but those look pretty nice to me. Death animation seem almost a tad on the stiff side, though, not quite as much personality as the others.
Awwww, that thing is just too cute for words! I want to take it home and mate with it.
At any rate, the animations are delightfully quirky in their flavor, and have alot of character. I'm not much of an animator, but this is just my opinion. Well done!
Death2 is your strongest animation up there. The timing and exaggeration of it is "dead" on.
The beginning of the climb out looks good but the popping out and landing makes the character
look as it's floating down to the ground. Give it more weight.
The slash animation cries out for more exaggeration. Really make the character stretch out and look fierce.
Those are just some of my ideas. Great lil character!
Keep animating!
Imp Slash:
There is some twinning going on with the legs so they both leave the floor and land on the floor at the same time, I think you could break the timing of that up a little
He's also leading with his head on the slashes, I think you could lead with the body and have the head drag behind a bit
Idle:
Need more settling frames at the end as it's a little harsh at the moment - for most games you can make the settle fairly long and then they can break out of that in code if they need to
Death1:
I think you could have a small anticipation before he flies back, just 1 or 2 frames have him squash a little so you feel the anticipation rather than see it
Death2:
The pause after he stands up straight before the leg sticks out makes it look a little forced at the moment, I think have the leg come out as his body is straightening would flow a bit better
