Hey i was forwarded this today and thought you guys might be interested.


Hi Guys,
This is going out to mostly just artist, mainly sci-fi and fantasy or concept art related work. If you're an artist, professional or even an amateur check the site because they have stolen tons and tons of work from people without permission.
They are selling art illegally against copyright law and making money for what are probably shit quality prints since they take the work off of websites and online at low resolution. Put them out of business and pass this bulletin along, repost it or alert friends. Your art or a friends art might be on here, there are pieces from star wars artist like Ryan Church and other big names.

You can skim through the categories or even by some artist names. Some of the works or a lot are under "unknown" names so make sure to check each portion of the site for your art.

Here is a link to conceptart.org where a lot of the artist have been discussing the stolen work and the site having gone down 2 or 3 times each time coming back and still selling prints at a whopping $48-$50 even charging for downloading an image as well.

there is a ton of work on there for the Star Wars films and most of it by Ryan Church. This is just crazy. These guys are seriously pissing off a lot of people and they don't even seem to care about it.

George Lucas gets guys shut down on ebay that make prop replicas. He will take these guys to the cleaners.

So, from that and the looks of that conceptart thread you linked, they are potentially getting the hint. Still, bad form.

We were just having a discussion about people stealing artwork (mainly about a particular individual which will remain nameless) and then seeing this is just as bad! It's just not on... AT ALL!
I hope these fuckers get shut down and fined or made to pay out the owners of the works respectively.

I think the key word ther is 'Ukrainian'. Copyright doesn't mean that much in some of these 'emergent' democracies. I suspect their 'content suppliers' are (is) teh interwebz.
