Something funky going on with polycount

I just noticed this, not sure how long it's been like this, but the boards have been coming up as: http://72.232.179.131:8003/postlist.php?Cat=0&Board=1

Is the domain not working correctly or something?

THATS WHY!!! I thought the filter at work finally shut out polycount. They filter anything else you could enjoy at work. plz fix it...i want my polycount at work. they already block out imageshack and photobucket...all i have is general discussion and whatever people host on their personal webpages. waa...lol.

Does anyone else keep getting logged out? I'm also ocasionally getting pages that only half load until they're refreshed. Perhaps its just Opera being contrary, as is its want.

I don't get logged out, but the site keeps dying on an overly regular basis. It also stays knocked out, for quite some time (several hours at a time it seems).

As of this morning polycount.com and boards.polycount.net stopped resolving for me and I can only access the site through the IP address

Still seeing the IP on my end, but no other problems. The IP doesn't bother me either since the text address still redirects correctly. Obviously it sucks for those who work where the IP is blocked though.

Seems fixed now.

The IP was temporary while DNS stuff propagated. The boards are back to a nice friendly name now. Some people might not be able to get here for a bit. If you were one of those people, blame your ISP for not running their DNS servers properly.

hahah, after stating that I was using the text address, I ended up realizing that I had reset my 'favorites' and had saved it as an IP. About 5 minutes ago, it stopped working (the IP). I typed in the text address and things are back to normal

The boards are back up again. The SQL section of the new server took a dump. We're not expecting it, but we may have a couple more incidents like this as we continue to flog the new server. If the boards are unavailable, please feel free to drop into the IRC channel and let us know. Someone is usually aware, but it doesn't hurt to make sure.

HAHA, I thought exactly the same ! Each time I'm trying to reach polycount @ work, it doesn't work. Damn frustrating !
