The thing that bothers me about the search function is that it only searches for posts newer than a week old by default. You have to change the "Date Range," which I always forget to do... then I have to wait for three weeks before it'll let me search again .
it's just the software that the boards is based on... sorry guys.
i haven't usually had any problems though, as long as i get the date ranges roughly right.

but whats with the 1-search-per-session? you cheap bastards

I think it's to prevent people from exploiting the search function to crash the server or something... but you'd think they could at least make it something like 15 seconds instead of a few minutes.
it could be worse, it could have one of those stupid fucking verification keys you need to type in from some goddamn image that expires after ten seconds so you type the fucker in three seperate times and then find that there was no bloody results for your search. fuck you conceptart.org
I think I remember what you're talking about, KP... some kind of organic abstract machinery parts? Might have been Swampbug or Nitzmoff who did those, can't remember...
Heh, some of you guys really need to learn how to search!
I left "newer than" fields all blank, set "older than" field to 1 Year, and searched for +abstract +mechanic (otherwise it will look for each term separately).
3 threads, third one was this, and my guess was pretty close, it was Swampbug! Unfortunately it was old enough that the images are all broken. Maybe Swampbug can re-post them?
whatever, the point is KP could have tried lots of random search words in succession and maybe found what he was looking for on his own. But, because the search function makes you wait to re-search, he instead started this thread and it took all the people in this thread 2 days to figure it out. . .
Woah, hey guys. Had no clue this thread was about my drawings.
KP, I'll make a post soon this weekend and put back on my domain the images, what I have of them anyways.
Sad note: I lost the original sketchbook in which all these drawings are contained. Or it got stolen. I haven't seen the book in over 9 months and I always had that thing on me in my backpack. I've looked everywhere I can think of and still to this day have a nervous habit of checking places I've looked 10 times already hoping "I just didnt look hard enough in this cupboard". I also back tracked to places I frequent asking for lost and found. I doubt I wrote my address in the book If I truely misplaced it.
I'm also missing a CD that contains all digital backups. I have a majority of the drawings on my HD, but I'm missing 10 of them still that are probably on the backupdisk. Its a conspiracy I tell you. :P

Im not really into modern art but most of that stuff is pretty awesome.
Edit: Nvm, searched mechanical abstractions already, was it archived or pruned or something else?

Well, I need to start drawing new ones then.
I'll keep you updated KP.

the search sucks, i don't expect a change. this google trick is handy to know about, thanks.
MoP: you might not have to wait due to your moderator status - just a guess.
