Not going to spoil anything until it hits the theatre, I'll just say I was completely speechless at the end of it. I felt... full, complete, very happy and was so inspired. Some people said the story follows too much of the usual pixar's cliche, but that didn't bother me.

Loved it and will go see it again in a bigger theatre.

i watched the extended clip of one of the guys from pixar talking about the movie and showing some clips. It just looks amazing.

Can't wait to go and check it out.

I didn't really feel anything watching Incredibles.
Ratatouille made me happy.
Ratatouille > Monster Inc > Incredibles, for me.

Haven't seen any threads for this, so I'll just give this one a new lease on life. Just an amazing film, and very funny. The storytelling felt a bit disconjoined but the pay off was very good. My date and I left the theater with giant grins on our faces.

(Oh and I don't know what the case is in the US, but yes, it did just come out a week ago in Singapore. SQUARE)

Uk not for a month? Odd, it's already been out for a few weeks here in the Netherlands, which also requires an additional dutch dub for its release (which I avoided, obviously).

Anyway, this Movie is totally awesome. As lame as the concept of a rat wanting to be a chef in paris might sound, pixar probably pulled this off about as well as they could. It looks so good it's unreal, an of course the animation is what you'd expect from pixar.

I'm not sure how it holds up to the incredibles, but I'll watch it a few million times more once I have the dvd.

yep. seen it already here in portugal. its an awesome movie. i think its better than the incredibles. i loved also the ending credits. awesome

wow, I just noticed it was still at the theatre when I saw death sentence today. I was wondering like, " who the hell hasn't seen it by now???". lol, i liked it a lot as well.

Yeah, I was confused by the UK date as well...
Still looking forward to seeing this on a big screen, despite the fact that (apparently) the story isn't all that great. I love how the scenes had lighting painted in by the concept artists before the 3d lighting was done, it really shows in what I've seen so far.

I've never been a big fan of Pixar's storylines, but I've always enjoyed the style and the great animation they put in to all their films.
The only Pixar film I've seen in the cinemas was The Incredibles and easily my most favourite Pixar film to date. Might end up going with a few people from work to check it out once its released here.
