I am looking to find out what kind of coat this is. does it have a name? it's beend driving me nuts since I've seen the movie and I'd like to get my hands on one that is similar. any help is greatly appreciated.

It looks kind of like a pea coat. I'm not sure of the exact style, but it's what it reminded me of. Here's the Wikipedia entry on it.

i believe it is a style of pea coat. I had one in the US Navy. Nice coat too.
