My roommate and I decided to get a cat. Her name is Bianca Lundfurthir Agustdottir, Bianca for short.





It's nice to come home and have a little meowing bundle of fur happy to see me. I wanted a dog, but they're way too expensive to get and keep here in Iceland.

AWW. With, like, four 'w's. Though I guess that'd be more 'awwww'. But sheeeit, what a cute kitty. I want a cat, always had one while growing up, but my lady-friend is allergic. I have to content myself with petting the almost suicidally-friendly cat who lives across the street but often forgets which side his house is on. He sheds.

Cats are better than dogs anyway. They're way easier to take care of, and they have more personality. Dogs generally all have the same personality (which isn't a bad personality, mind you... I also like dogs), while cats usually have an individual personality. I think that's why some people don't like cats, because you have to actually establish a rapport with them, unlike a dog which usually likes anyone who feeds him.

cute kitty, but hope you realise what you have let yourself in for ie vets bills, kennels when you go on holiday. They can be quit tying. I have had mine for 12 years now. My other cat was 18 when she died.
