Hmmm the trailer makes me not interested at all I guess I'll have to give it a second thought . Just after how horrible Cars was I lost faith in Pixar . The little tid-bit about Wall-e hs me interested though
It's obviously too early to form an opinion just yet. The trailer doesn't really give much to go on. It just suggests an idea which looks to be (I hope) a bit of a departure from recent Pixar movies.
Reminded me of the third Hitchhiker's book, when the denizens of Cricket first discover that space exists beyond their opaque sky when a shuttle crashes onto their planet, subsequently refuse to acknowledge its existence, and make a balls-to-the-wall attempt to destroy it.
Fucking robot looks like Johnny Five, who should burn in hell for eternity.

This looks great like most everything else they do. Side note. I just found out that Brad Bird is doing a live action as his next movie. I think it's called 1906 now.
You mean "John Carter of Mars"? I don't know if Brad Bird is directing, but it is a Pixar production, and rumor has it that it's either live action or green screen. Interesting stuff, either way, coming from Pixar.
PS. Wall-E looks friggin' awesome, the only crap bits of Cars (IMHO) were the music numbers (friggin' Disney), and Ratatouille was a pretty good flick, although it's still in contention with The Incredibles for my favorite Pixar flick...

first thing I thought when I seen that.
Have they used that music for like everything they've done though? Seems so familiar...
Gotta say, the preview gives me no interest to see that film.

Hmm, too little to really get me excited at this point, though it could be good.

That music is from the film Brazil directed by Terry Gilliam. The original score was composed by Michael Kamen.
Gotta say, the preview gives me no interest to see that film.

Huh? Is it out yet? I thought that it premieres June 29th.
Anyways...I've enjoyed all of Pixar's movies so far an doubt that it will be any different for Wall-E.
Gotta say, the preview gives me no interest to see that film.
And [in my opinion] nothing is ever going to live up to ratatouille. That was easily the best pixar movie ever. EVER EVER EVER.
