Dream-Build-Play contest entry needs art makeover

Hello,
We are working on a game for the Microsoft XNA, Dream, Build Play contest (which ends on July 2). The game is currently about 80% finished. But all we have now is placeholder art and are in need of a complete art makeover. This game is mainly a top-down 2D scroller.

Project name: HoneyComb Caverns
Brief description: Explore the underwater caves of Honeycomb Caverns in search of the golden treasure. Steer your submarine through deadly currents and avoid hitting the walls. When hull damage reaches 100%, the game is over. Press the SPACEBAR or the A button on your controller to view the scanner/map. The map shows all of the caves you have entered and thier distances from the treasure cave. Using this distance information you should be able to figure out where the treasure cave is. The sooner you reach the treasure the bigger your fuel bonus will be. The flashing hexagon is the cave you are currently in. To move to an adjacent cave use the swirling vortexs, by pressing ENTER/button B when your sub is over it. The arrow on the vortex shows which way you will go. When you enter the treasure cave, you exit your sub to pickup as much gold as you can. As you pickup gold, every turn you make uncovers a rock. Keep picking up gold until you run into a rock. Then you will return to your sub and recieve a, gold times remaining fuel, bonus.
Target aim: First place in the Dream, Build Play contest.
Compensation: 20% of whatever we win.
Technology: Any art tools you have.
