Ok i know this shouldnt be this difficult. Ive always unwrapped in max so i never had to deal with this problem before. These days Ill completely unwrap a model in maya and export to an obj to texture in max.
The issue is none of my uv coordiates from the obj seem to display in max. it just shows up as the default z-axis planar map 0__o
I know its not the obj because i can open it up and see my unwrap in silo, maya, blender.. pretty much everything but max!
and yes, I have texture coordinates checked on the obj import. what else could this be? i tried this in both max8 and 9.

The better OBJ export/import plugin is pretty nice though.
Yah prof.420 i noticed the same thing too. The meshes are triangulated on export. I dont know about you, but the plugin just provided a second obj exporter so the original max one is still able to be used for clean non triangulated meshes
