It's still a bit wip. I am desperately trying to speed up my texturing process... I guess I have done about 3-4 hours of work or so.
i was hoping to see some more pixel action

suffeli - maybe if u followed a 'layered' process that might get ur speed up. that is, break down ur rendering layers, build up gradually and consistently all over, not finish one area and move to next. i'd say at least stay below 75% highlight to the end
Ok. Tucked in some details, rigged that bastard and made a basic pose. Some of the areas, the back mostly, is very sketchy so I'll waste few more hours on that before wrapping this up.
shotgun: Usually I start off with very rough sketching with a flat oval brush, using desaturated colours but I get stuck with details very early on. Well... I guess I'm prone to doing unnecessary amounts of details before laying the first shadow and light levels properly. And then I find myself wasting time going back and forward getting really nowhere. I guess I have to be more meticulous (what the hell that word means anyway? :P) with the texturing steps.
