hey guys, been lurking around this forums for awhile, and mustered up the courage to post something, this still req alot of polishing before the end of my school term so please leave c&c thanks
Actually I'm a fan of huge pics but I'm in a minority.
I'm really digging the third picture of the dude in the armor but with the way you have the armor modelled when you smooth it it's going to shrink weirdly and turn to shit. I'm assuming you're going to chamfer the appropriate edges later?
I know he's wearing armour on his forearms, but you might want to give more definition between the hand and wrist. At the moment they just flow together a bit too smoothly
looks great! only crit would be that the tail seems as if it is just glued on, and not part of the character look up some anatomy reference of dogs/cats/mice/monkeys/any creature with a spine and tail. hope it helps!
awesome first post!
thanks guys for taking the time to comment and looking at my thread, i agree with all of the crits and i hope to fix everything and have renders kicking before my time here is done
Just remember as stated above, the tail looks glued on because tails are extensions of the spine. Thats what makes them look glued on, it needs to flow as a part of the spine.

Imageshack provides thumbnail links as well - use them!
Other than that, solid work! It all looks pretty damn slick to me.

Love that diorama, especially with the alien guy jumping in. Death from above! Really really nice work on that armor, too.
