From what I can tell, Acclaim is making a racing MMO, using mostly community volunteers to get it done. Whichever individual from the community "shines" the most, will then get to be Director on an MMO of their own with full funding and garanteed publishing by Acclaim.

The volunteers are mainly delivering ideas for it. They can also make concept sketches and 3d models that could be used for the game, but they cant programm om the game. David Perry has a also a team of normal paid employees to create whole thing.
I think its a cool idea, im curious what this will lead to.
Something like 100000 volunteers are registred for it, must be the biggest team working on a game ever!
