After looking through the forums, I could see my skills are definitely not matched up to most of you
, but its great to see a very helpful community
ANyways here is a low poly shoe I made for an assignment!

I highly suggest modeling in quads and if you did, not triangulating the model for ease of unwrapping and also smoothing purposes.
The red lines are edges that can easily be deleted to create a quad (blue square). I redrew how I would set up my quads on the op of the shoe. You had a bit of a triangulation mess up there. Hope it helps.

You could also lose a few polygons without truly affecting the silhouette. It's a shoe, so it's going to be on a character's foot 99% of the time. When was the last time you concentrated on a character's feet in Counter-Strike or Half-Life? Never, so you can easily get away with less detail.
