Davy Jones was one of the rare highpoints for me cg wise in years, apart from gollum and children of men. At first, I couldn't figure out whether it was a cg or just cg prosthetics.

His face was hand animated, by the way.

I remember someone posting a link to an ILM site that had all sorts of goodies from the second movie. Also how it was planned to use his real eyes and mouth (hence the paint) but they later figured they could do it all in 3d.
