Character TD/ Rigger
Do you possess that rare blend of art and technical talent? Do you possess intimate knowledge of the human anatomy that you can call upon to create realistic skeletal rigs? Can you create rigs accurately in a timely manner? Are you knowledgeable about the Maya API and can create tools and MEL scripts?
If so, then we want you to join our team. We create multi-platinum nextgen console releases and we are in need of high caliber character riggers to assist in our development. Candidates must be technically proficient, enjoy rigging characters, and be able to create tools to free animators and character artists.
What youve done:
- Youve worked as a character rigger professionally for at least 2 years
- Youve worked as a rigger on at least one shipped video game title.
- Youve created tools in Maya as well as some MEL scripts.
- Youve tinkered with Motionbuilder and C++
- You understand what makes a good model. You understand anatomy, kinesiology, weighting, and skinning.
