Does anyone know where I can find some good sized anatomy references.
I want to really get it down, I want to really understand it. I'm going to start studying it and studying it like it's my job. Well, it will be eventually haha.
Loomis is by far the best imo. i think his stuff really applies to 3d because he illustrates all the planes of the body and stuff, as if he were making topolgy. that guy understood 3d.
anyway, you can just type in Andrew Loomis pdfs. and Im sure youll be able to find it.
There are lots of "anatomy for artists" books out there, though I tend to agree with Per. I'm still learning anatomy, and I probably will be for the rest of my life. Keep practicing and copying diagrams and you'll see yourself improve.
It helps to keep a sketchbook, so you can see yourself progress from month to month, and year to year. Show it off here on Polycount and ask what people think. You'll get helpful criticism, and you'll get over the anxiety some people have about showing their work.
http://www.reybustos.com/03ra/ra.html these are pretty sweet me things. you can move your mouse over the image and it switches fades between photo and drawn muscles.
You guys do realize that "straight" porn also has strained muscles. I mean....you do only need one male model at a time haha. And there's no uncomfort in the musk of it all.
but i mean whatever you guys are into.
haha
But seriously, Thank you all so much for the help. I have alot of anatomy reference tahnks you guys. Time to start drawing my wittle heart out.
I'll post some studies here and there.
