Features a 2 page spread on the title I've been working on here at 8monkey Labs for the past year or so, along with a couple other polycounters(Per 'per"sexyman"128' Abrahamsensonsan, Martin 'dfacto' Shapev AND Andres' 'MonkeyScience' Rienot, the creator of CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED mod Matrix Quake!) along with some really tallent folks here onsite at our studio. This is the first time a project i've worked that has been published in anything like this so its pretty exciting.
The game is officially Titled Darkest of Days and if you've got a copy of the mag, check out the article on page 44! Or hell even go out and buy a copy, you know you want to!
We're also looking to add in some more people on staff as well so if anyone is interested go here:
http://www.darkestofdays.com/employment.html and feel free to shoot off an email to us. We should have some better descriptions of the positions we're looking to fill but for now we can get back to anyone interested with more information.

Last weekend? Just wondering but did you come up to see John Stewart at the Orpheum on the 18th? My wife and I went to see him and it was a blast.
Not at a studio currently but looking. Doing freelance work and grinding out a support job to pay the bills.
i guess its illegal to scan pages for those who don't have access to the magazine?
Per moved to the states, or is he just contract?
Grats guys, I'll look for it in PC Gamer UK (hopefully it's in that too).

Hello Folks!
We are happy to announce 'Darkest of Days', an adventure that will allow you to take part in some of Man's most trying times in history. History is not as it seems, people are wrapped up in situations they were never supposed to be part of, and its up to you to save them. Its up to you to set History the way it was meant to be!
Learn more by picking up a P.C. Gamer magazing, which has an excellent article announcing the game in their July issue, which is hitting new stands now. Pick up a copy, and be blown away by the exclusive screen shots and top-notch article.
You can also go to DarkestofDays.com to learn more (there is a countdown to lauch for June 15th there) or click on the link on the Phantom EFX home page.
This story has been a concept of mine even before Phantom EFX started. We are so happy to actually be producing what has always been a dream. We have formed a new company, 8monkey Labs to make the game, which is a state-of-the-art development company doing AAA work. Darkest of Days will be published by Phantom EFX and other publishing partners for the X-Box 360 and PC.
We are extremely happy to formally announce this game: a game that is epic, rich in story, and will put you in man's most trying times.

Hey Earthquake, I am confused a bit. The game TheDarkestofDays says its being developed by PhantomEFX, along with being published and so forth. But the link to you guys says 8monkeylabs is the name of the company that you work for, is this a typo from PCGamer? Just curious if I have the right game, a civil war-to the destruction of Pompeo.

Yeah this was a fuckup on pcgamer's part, and by the time we got a proof copy to read it was too late and was already being printed, its some bs.... but what can you do...
Phantom is indeed publishing the game.

P.S: Doc_Rob, yeah I knew that, but was pointing out the descrepensy (sp?) on PC Gamers developers description ( Not giving 8monkeylabs the credit ).
