The first Rambo is a really good movie and I was hoping this new Rambo would live up to what Rock Balboa did for the rocky series . As it looks now it's just another ( stupid missionaries go into hostile territory and get captured/killed and only our hero can save them ! ) Which has been done to death . I wish he would have went back and captured the heart of the series and made something more like the first Rambo

I was just watching it the other night on Spike . In that first movie you just wanted him to kill those cops because a lot of us have run into asshole cops who made there own rules and the film really spoke to the audience on a level that a lot of people could relate to and almost side with even though his actions seemed homicidal .

Haha, this looks sweet. Agreed the whole stupid missionaries plot is worn and annoying but the brutal action more than makes up for it. That head chopping, 50. cal part was insane!

I have to agree with McIlroy 100%
I too watched Rambo the other day and I forgot how great that film was, easily the best Rambo hands down. Less was more in Rambo's case as it helped the emotion + characters make the film instead of 1,000 explosions and near death encounters.

Yeah "First Blood" rocked. I still like rooting for Stallone, my childhood hero from groing up in the 80's.

"Rocky Balboa" was great and I'll be seeing this also, good or bad.

I think he may have been using his trademark explosive-tipped arrows. I'm guessing he shot the guy, dude fell in to the water and then the arrow head went kapow.

But taking the other violence from the trialer into consideration, he probably also landed on a mine and his gibs landed in a snake pit.
