I dunno, every time I see screen shots of the game it seems like they're worse than the last. The screens they were spreading around a year ago were awesome, and everything since then has dropped off in quality, in my opinion.

The big environment shot has some really weak looking foliage.

The fat guy's nipples are awesome, though

I agree with the first half.
Is it just me or does the female character have shitty painted hair? So much detail in the face, very photo-real, then you have flat shaded hair with a few streaks painted in using the burn tool.
The trees/foliage are obviously alpha planed in the large environment shot. I think its the way the lighting hits the geometry that makes it really obvious.
Would this game make me buy a PS3? I think not.

there were some very recent videos from that game spread around the company today. looked like a PS2 game with lots of bloom for the most part to me. character designs seem ... unappealing. and the gameplay looks like GoW minus the bossfights so far. hm.

Those screen seem to fulfill every bad cliche of bad next gen games, yet the overall style is quite nice. I am seriously confused

But after watching the gameplay trailer I am really not impressed at all. The animations suck (way to quick, and bad blending) and the gameplay itself seems boring as hell

Kinda reminds me of jade empire, with better graphics and without the Bioware RPG goodness. But Im not gonna buy a PS3 just to play it.

HS doesnt really bring anything new to the table from what weve seen, I'd rather be playing Lair on PS3.

I had this one tipped as the one that might be worth getting a PS3 for, but it looks like I'll be able to hold onto my 1000 bucks for a bit longer. Hurrah.

I would really like to fell how it plays, yeah pity about the hair and foliage...I do agree the older shots of the game looked much more like an FMV sequence whereas these look more standard next gen. Could this be another case like motorstorm?
