Game devs in europe

I'm currently looking for game dev companies in europe who take interns and so far I've had no luck. Also it takes a long time tracking down companies, since I don't know much about say dutch, german or french developers. I'm getting kind of desperate, cause I need to find a place soon, so I thought I'd see whether I can muster the polycount community to help me out. If anybody could direct me to some resources, like lists or companies or perhaps recommend a place I would surely appreciate it.

PS: wasn't sure if the belongs in request so I'll post here for the most exposure

i know they do not really consider themselves part of europe, but you might want to focus on the UK. far more companies here than in the countries you mentioned, including some large ones that might have internship-programs.
also, less chances for language troubles, i guess?
