Made by First Act called the Garage Master. You've prolly seen the ad with Slash or John Mayer or whomever playing a guitar plugged into a VW? You get one free with the new car. Well I got one off eBay and it is sooo cool. A great addition to my wee collection and what fun. It looks good, sounds and plays great. Yee HAW! VW

I've been kinda wanting an electro-acoustic recently, there's only so much you can do on a solid bodied electric.
Just an aside... see if you can find a DVD or video of Eric Roche (Live at the Electric Theater is the one I have, it's amazing), sadly passed away from cancer a couple of years ago, but was a fantastic guitarist with a really unique style, definitely worth watching. http://www.ericroche.com/listen.php

[/ QUOTE ] It has it's drawbacks but nothing major. I've seen $700 Gibsons and Fenders with bigger problems. The pups are strong..intonation is right on. Sounds great thru my little Marshall. I'll lower the action just a tad but that's personal preference. I got it for $175 including shipping.....worth every penny and then some. It included a H/D VW embroidered gigbag, seatbelt strap, cord 1/4" to mini, VW picks & has a 9v powered pre-amp. I'd recommend it and what a collector piece!
