Hi,
I'm new to the boards. I'm a student taking game art and design at the Art Institute of Vancouver-Burnaby.
I'm currently working on a realtime renderable Kirsten Kreuk. Right now she sits with only a painted color map(with alpha for opacity on hair). I'm working on a high poly to bake some normal/spec. Any comments or critiques that would be helpful in making it look...well...more like her would be appreciated :P
Cheers,
-Brenden

how many references are you using?, I've been trying to model characters from heroes and having it playing and scrolling through it in a corner of my screen always really helps get a feel for the 3d shape. maybe do that with smallville if you haven't already.
I wouldn't think about texturing it without getting a really recognisable model
Sorry if it's sound harsh, didn't meant to. Best of luck to you with completing that project.
The face needs more loops but bonus points for eyelashes, most people forget them.
If you need pictures of her head from all angles, just rent the superman DVD's / acquire a show and do screen caps.
see the difference?
