Talented blues guitarist

As part of my job I film 'local interest' pieces for the local newspaper's website. We had this band in called "Back Door Slam" for an interview and 'unplugged' session and I was struck by guitarist Davy Knowles's talent. Check it out on Youtube here and here.

They're a local (Manx) band who've just scored a three album deal and are currently on a US tour. Destined for greatness, hopefully.

Awesome, it's great when any musician gets a record deal. I know just how hard it is. Makes me with I was with my college band still.

Not too shabby. Although, when it comes to blues, personally I prefer old delta blues played on a resonator guitar.

Great voice, too. Not too many white boys can sing like that. I think of Johnny Lang or back to Steve Winwood.
