Sending your Portfolio

I am currently looking for an internship as a modeller for dutch gamedeveloping companies. I have already found some interesting companies and most of them require that you send your portfolio along with your job application. I was wondering how you guys send your portfolio and which method might get the best results?

Do you send a link to your online portfolio, or do you mail a zipfile with renders(if so, how do you categorize your work, and do you add descriptions/text documents?), or maybe something completely different?

Well if you have a website ready i would go with that,make sure its straight foward and easy to navigate. Lots of people apply for jobs at studios and if someone looking at artwork has to wait too much to see your work its very likely they will skip your website.

Now if you dont have a website or easily navigateable website email the person who is looking at work and ask if submissions via zip files are acceptable and if there is a size limit. If there is keep it limited to your best work.

Hey sorry for the bump but I just wanted to say thanks for your answer!!! Thanks to your tip(making a website: http://www.tookie.nl/bobby) I got accepted for an interview, after wich I received an art test and now they gave me the position!!!!
