Hey all, just wanted to quickly post what I've been working on. I have been REALLY inspired by Silicon Knights "Too Human"... which is looking great.
Here is what I have so far, I wanted to try and stay with some of the style that Too Human brings. My plan is to actually give this guy some dreadlocks (tastefully) so it will really bring out the coolness.
Still have much to work on, haven't really tweaked to much of the flow yet, which I will get to once I get more of the overall design done.

I haven't actually really done anything to the arms yet (hence the basic shoulder armor) I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do. I want to make it asymmetrical in some parts, and usually the arms are the way to go, just adding different pieces of armor.
The only thing I am worried about right now is how the normal will look on the model. If there are too many sharp edges, doesn't the normal display poorly? And would you guys recommend using mudbox to get all the nice crisp edges of the armor, or should I just stick with max and the good ol turbo smooth to get it done (for the armor)?

I'm sorry to hear that Smirnoffka... I was told by a friend of mine just to pick yourself up and continue on with your life, even if it hurts to walk for a week
I also changed the goldish yellow, its more of a golden / bronze type colour now.
Only 2 things that stand out to me.
1) I expect you will be doing something with that face and hair, at the moment it looks like plastic.
2) you need to push the red further. Everying has a similar tone, which almost makes it look boring, and the eyes just sort of wash over it. Bring out the colours more and you will have a winner. Looking super though.
Oh and about that woman... uh... man. Yeah, I got myself checked and its all good. Now let us never speak of it again.

I wanna either work on a low poly model to help with some texturing practice, or make another next gen model (inspired by Blacksite: Area 51... check the demo out, its mmm mmm good).
