You have really improved your modeling skills since the old version. Very nicely defined anatomy. Personally, I would probably beef the arms-- eh, stumps-so-far.. a bit further. Just a tad. Although I'm sure I would discover they were perfect to begin with, if it was me doing it..
I agree with conte, it looks like the traps are going too far forward. When you look at the sideview, the muscle shouldnt be as pronounced near the front, that spot is mostly shoulder and clavicle.
well choldens points are valid, but i do very much like the style you've got going.
a point to be made is that a barbarian take conan for example is a big old bugger all muscle kinda guy, but he ISNT a body builder, so he isnt going to look much like trey "i take lots of steroids" brewer :P
the legs would probably be fairly slender as a barbairan is going to be used to running around a fair bit, but not conditioned to squat lift several hundred pounds of weight.
perhaps be better to look at somebody like kimbo the street fighter (no linking go google it)
not that im saying cholden is wrong, but if you want to go for absolute realism.. i thinkt hat would be a closer physique than a body builder.
could just be the edges thats putting me off but his pecs seem to slope downward into his shoulders should be the other way around.
also the traps do look a bit odd, like they are termiating at the neck rather than flowing into it.
hope thats of some help. i really look forward to seeing how this turns out.
you know body builders actualy LIVE in the fucking gym he was a powerlifter before starting body building i'm not saying he didnt use steriods but i'm saying other people claiming someone did are idiots. yes.. you guys are idiots. yes i'm looking at you petej and razorbladder.
as for the model its loking good, and i do agree you should bulk the legs. but i don't think as much as Treys i personanly think he's huge to the point of being icky.
i personaly don't think barbarians would be cut and trim but should have a good stable base and yours looks a bit off ballance
The model looks good so far apart from the disproportionately skinny knees. I think the physique of the models that Japhir posted are (obviously) well suited to this. They have a build that reflects what they do with their bodies.
I'd tilt the head up If I were you. You might find it tricky doing any serious work on the face with it looking down.
Fixed the traps, tweaked the mesh in various places and buffed up the legs.
I want to keep him more athletic than bulky, but I´m glad you guys are giving me some advice.
About the build...I doubt Cloud from Final Fantasy could even lift his sword.
looking much better, i still think there's something not quite right about the torso, im thinking it might be the muscles under the arm/around the ribs, possibly be a tad too bulky.
*edit* hope there will be some sort of sdk for this when your done!

Thanks man.
@Marshal Banana
Like i said it´s stylized.
@conte
Could you be a bit more specific?
@East
Thanks.
Yeah, I´ll beef ´em up a bit.
2012 tris
On to the equipment.
This is Trey Brewer. A 21 year old powerlifter turned body builder, so you get the best of both worlds (real power and an anatomy lesson)

But cholden's crit is still valid, those legs need a major rejig.
I´ll beef ´em up a bit...just the knees or the whole leg?
Very cool remake .
Barbarian? With those chicken legs. Let me show you what a man looks like...
