well its time to leave my current company at the end of next month.
Been there about 7 months, but just could n't get around the fact that we are using 3dsmax patches rather than polys.
sooo hard to model with patches and get a good pipeline going.
I have no regrets though and it was a nice place to work.
Very friendly people:)
I may just be getting out of games altogether now but will have a 3 month break to recharge my batteries first before making any big decisions.
probably I will try and get into freelancing or summat new

Best of luck, Ruz.
If you're considering film work, Double Negative are hiring, so might want to give them a shot.
Man I am really getting sick of games. its a just a big bunch of factory sweat shop bolllocks. And to think I used to be a real artist he he.
it seems to be that the less real ability and the more ass kissing ability you have, the further you will go in games.
I Spent 3 years working for folks with no soul:()
Its all about 'assets' these days and people with small round glasses and goatee beards who spout endless business cliches.
anyway, good luck.
crazy shit indeed. I must must be the foremost expert on 3dsmax patch modelling in the uk by now(probably the only one)
I have actually done some decent stuff with them, but I would prefer to work with polys these days.
Good luck, Ruz.
