Animation test #2

the first animation i did was this:

now after some modeling i felt like doing some more animation, and i got it up to here:

now i realize my animation skills are still piss poor, so if any of you here could give me some pointers, it would be much appreciated, also, im looking for a tut to make exhaust(jet) flames, and really exaggerated anime like ones at that.
im using max 8 btw.

Get some real webspace, that mega upload thing is a disaster. You should look into using the curve editor to help accentuate certain parts of an animation.

If you are serious about animating, pick up the Animator's Survival Kit, give it a long read, and then try again.

You really need to understand the fundamentals of animation before trying too much.

on the second vid where it focuses in on his right hand and then suddenly a sword just pops out looks a little... odd (for lack of a better word)
