[Question] Quake 3 Main Menu

I was wondering if someone had any ideas which file in pak0.pk3 that could be edited with photoshop to change the hue of the orange fiery Quake 3 Arena and the text. Have alook at the screenshot for better understanding. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

that would be models/mapobjects/banner/banner5.md3, linking to a shader in scripts/models.shader

hmm this seems abit more difficult then I anticipated. Editing the ARENA in blue there was simple as opening a jpg file and changing the hue and repacking it. It also is animated. So I figured that the Quake III would be similar, I dont know how to use that md3 file to find the shader in scripts/models.shader and edit it

As for menu text, that's all coded in ui.qvm. Yes, coded. The frightening word CODED. OH NO

Remember that you can put all modified files into new .pk3 and it will overwrite those from main pk3's ingame. (Assuming that You Now edited all files inside the original paks)

Yes this is true and thats what I ended up doing for one of my mods I play but as for the Quake III sign there shown in the picture I think I'll leave it default as I don't really care that much about it hehe thanks for the info though )
