Physique with Bones??

Hey everyone,

Just a quick question (I hope). I am trying to create a rig for a creature that has six legs, a tail, and arms. I have to use physique and the biped in max, (engine is requiring it, bones, and skin modifier do not import correctly) basically I have the biped set up with bones for the extra appendages. However, when I apply the physique modifier, and add the bones as floating bones, I cannot assign skin weights to those bones. I have also tried using dummy objects linked to the bones, and applying them as the floating bones. Does anyone have any idea how to get extra appendages into a biped using physique? Thanks for the help, I hope I explained this ok….

    You probably need terminator bones on the end of your flaoting bones. If you unhide all, you'll notice the biped as dummies on the end of every bone chain. These are needed for physique to work properly.

    So you can do the same to your floating bones and if should work with physique.
