viewport settings for texture sizes in max

I've been scrolling through my prefs and help files but I can't seem to figure out how many of you are getting those nice high res viewport textures on your models. Mine always end up looking way blurrier then they should and I can't find the "make pretty" preference.

So, if anyone knows wtf Im yammering about, plz fill me in

I now exactly what you're talking about. It's pretty easy. Just go to Customize>Preferences then under the Viewports tab, click on the configure driver button near the bottom. Just click the boxes to match bitmap size as closely as possible. That should fix you right up. Here's a grab of my settings. They seem to work for me.
